Advantages of Servo Feeding With Airgun Pellet Machine

Hydra airgun pellet machine started with manual feeding as most of the parts were mechanic. After a radical change on design of the machine we decided to use servo motor for leadwire feeding. The advantages can be listed as below:

- Accuracy: The feeder will give exactly the same amount of lead every single time. There will be no variation between the very first pellet and last pellet at the end of the day. Here the most cricial thing is the leadwire diameter. Leadwire must have always the same diameter. Any change on leadwire diameter will affect the pellet weight.

- Adjustment: Increase and decrease of the weight of the leadwire can be programmed via touch screen control panel. The operator can increase or decrease the weight with an accuracy of 0,01 gram. If more precise feeding is required can use more sensitive servo as well.
