Molding

Mold is the most crucial part of the airgun production. Here MTM has its unique design where mold has 4 parts. Before starting to explain the mold we must understand the shape of the pellet. Airgun pellet is very different than other products. The rear side is bigger than top part. Also body can have different shape. Here we seperate the pellet as;
-Top part
-Main body
-Rear part

The mold follow the same seperation as the pellet. One mold consist of;
- One top part forming stable mold punch
- Two main body forming right/left moving mold
- One rear side forming front/rear moving punch

Design unique design allows MTM to to design airgun pellets without molding sign on the product. Beside this design Hydra machine has mechanism to use mono block mold where an ejection punch is needed.
